Stretch Therapy
Intelligent mobility. Nervous system release. Deep, intentional reset.
Service Description
Stretch Therapy is a personalized bodywork experience designed to help your body release tension, improve mobility, and reconnect with ease. Rooted in Yoga Body Psychology, this work honors both the physical body and the nervous system, understanding that true flexibility comes from feeling safe, supported, and regulated. This is not passive stretching for the sake of range of motion. This is intentional, informed, and deeply embodied work. Each session is tailored to your body’s patterns, stress responses, and movement history. We work with breath, positioning, gravity, and gentle loading to encourage your nervous system to let go and your body to respond naturally. Two Ways to Experience Stretch Therapy: 1. Assisted Stretch Therapy (Hands-On) This option includes physical touch and guided assistance, where I support your body through carefully applied pressure, traction, and assisted positioning to help deepen stretches safely while maintaining relaxation and control. This option is ideal if you’re looking for: Deeper muscular release Hands-on guidance and support Improved joint mobility Assisted decompression A more passive, restorative experience Touch is always respectful, professional, and consent-based. 2. Guided Stretch Therapy (Non-Assisted) This option involves no physical touch. Instead, I verbally guide you through long-hold positions using tools like the wall, floor, props, and gravity. Examples include supported bridges, wall-assisted hip and hamstring work, and nervous-system-friendly positions that allow the body to soften and open on its own. This option is ideal if you prefer: No-touch sessions Greater body awareness and autonomy Nervous system regulation through breath and positioning Learning stretches you can repeat at home A more active, self-guided experience Both options are equally effective — the difference is simply how your body prefers to receive support. What Stretch Therapy Supports: Improved mobility and flexibility Reduced chronic tension Nervous system regulation Better posture and alignment Athletic recovery and longevity Stress relief and mental clarity A deeper connection to your body This work is especially beneficial for athletes, desk-bound professionals, high-stress individuals, and anyone feeling stiff, tight, or disconnected from their body. What Makes This Different? Stretch Therapy through Yoga Body Psychology recognizes that flexibility isn’t forced — it’s invited. We don’t push. We listen.
